Hi, I'm Joel, creator of the Confident Therapist Hub
I’m a mid-career integrative therapist and coach with a special interest in recovery from trauma, codependency, addiction and men’s issues. Alongside this, I’ve spent almost 25 years developing adult education skills, qualifications, assessments and e-learning.
I know first-hand how tough it can be to stay well as a therapist—balancing client work, supervision, CPD and the realities of life outside practice. Too often, the CPD available adds to the pressure, focusing on externals, i.e. new approaches or treating 'conditions' rather than an internal focus, i.e. supporting the therapist themselves.
